Craig Spinks

MSK + Sports Physiotherapist

MSc. Physiotherapy | BSc. Sports Science | MCSP | HCPC

Craig is a dedicated musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a strong background in sports science, biomechanics and strength and conditioning. He holds a First-Class Honours degree in Sports Science from the University of Abertay and a Master’s in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University.

Craig’s journey began as a SCQF Level 7 Personal Trainer, where he built a solid foundation in exercise science and injury prevention. These early experiences shaped his ability to create tailored rehab programs that meet the unique goals of each individual. Since then, he has worked across NHS and private clinics in Glasgow, Edinburgh, and East Lothian, focusing on musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

In 2023, Craig became an accredited McKenzie Method practitioner, further sharpening his skills in managing lower back pain. He’s committed to continuous learning, always staying up to date with the latest evidence-based practices to improve outcomes for his patients.

Outside of work, Craig is a passionate golfer—a sport he’s enjoyed since childhood. His personal experience in sport gives him a strong understanding of performance-focused rehab, especially when it comes to helping athletes recover and return to peak condition.

Craig’s Approach

Craig believes that great rehabilitation is individualised, evidence-based, and holistic. He works closely with his patients to understand their needs, goals, and lifestyle—empowering them to take control of their recovery and long-term health. His approach combines expertise in physiotherapy, sports science, and biomechanics to improve movement, build strength, and reduce the risk of future injuries. With a focus on clear communication and patient education, Craig ensures everyone he works with feels heard, supported, and confident in their recovery journey.
