Bertie has worked both privately and for the NHS specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He has gained vast experience treating a wide range of injuries and conditions by combining his physiotherapy and sports science knowledge and skills.
Bertie graduated from the Master’s Physiotherapy programme at Glasgow Caledonian University in 2017. Prior to that, in 2007, he obtained a BSc in Applied Sports Science from The University of Edinburgh.
Bertie enjoys working with a range of patients, from the young athlete to the older adult. He uses a combination of patient education, exercise therapy, soft tissues therapy, dry needling and joint mobilisations. At the core of his practice, he aims to educate you on your condition and to work with you in stages to help you to achieve your treatment goals.
Since attending a course in 2022 by one on the UKs leading running physios, Tom Goom, Bertie has furthered his specialist interest in running injuries, rehabilitation, and conditioning.
