Colin McDevitt

MSK + Sports Physiotherapist

MSc. Physiotherapy | BSc. Sports + Exercise Science | MCSP | HCPC

Originally from Ireland, his passion for movement and human performance began through his years playing Gaelic football and soccer. From here he was able to apply his knowledge to his own fitness and strength training. Colin enjoys helping others with performing their best not only in their sport but in their everyday. Colin’s interests in sport and helping people led him to complete a BSc in Sport and Exercise Science and then went an MSc in Physiotherapy.

Initially drawn to optimising athletic performance, his focus shifted to rehabilitation, where he found great reward in helping people recover and return to the activities they love. Colin has worked extensively with patients presenting a wide variety of injuries and conditions. This includes sports-related injuries such as ligament sprains, muscle strains, tendinopathies, alongside non-sporting cases such as low back pain, sciatica, neck pain, and repetitive strain injuries. Colin also has experience supporting patients through post-operative rehabilitation, including total hip replacement, total knee replacement, shoulder reconstructions, and rotator cuff repairs.

Beyond injury rehabilitation, Colin has a keen interest in strength training and conditioning, incorporating these principles into his treatment plans to build resilience and prevent re-injury. His approach combines evidence-based practice with a genuine enthusiasm for helping people achieve their goals, whether that’s returning to sport, improving daily function, or reaching new fitness milestones. In his free time, you’ll likely find him in the gym or out for a run. Colin is always excited to meet new clients and support them on their journey to recovery and better health.
