Harris Scott

MSK + Sports Physiotherapist

MSc. Physiotherapy | BSc. Applied Sports Science | MCSP | HCPC

Outside the clinic, Harris prioritises his own training and wellbeing, with a strong interest in staying healthy, active, and resilient. He enjoys reading and research and spends as much time outdoors as possible. A keen adventurer, Harris has completed multi-day trekking expeditions across Scotland and abroad, including the High Atlas Mountains, the Andes, and the Dinaric Alps.

Harris is passionate about building people up and helping them return to the activities they enjoy most. He believes great physiotherapy starts with truly listening to each person’s story, followed by a thorough assessment and a clear, easy-to-understand explanation of their condition. His holistic approach looks beyond symptoms, considering all the factors that may be contributing to pain or injury. By addressing these, Harris helps people manage pain, build long-term movement resilience, optimise their health, and regain confidence in their body.

Harris holds an Undergraduate degree in Applied Sport Science and a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy.

Career

Harris has dedicated his career to musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He spent a number of years working within a large hospital-based team, gaining experience under the guidance of multiple senior physiotherapists. During this time, he ran group-based osteoarthritis programmes, rehabilitated patients in a specialist soft-tissue injury clinic, and played an active role in educating and mentoring physiotherapists and students.

Alongside his clinical work, Harris has been actively involved in sports physiotherapy with Stewarts’ Melville FP Rugby Club, supporting players through injury rehabilitation, return-to-play planning, and performance-focused care in a competitive team environment.
