Peter O’Hanlon

Senior MSK + Sports Physiotherapist

Peter graduated in 2012 with a BSc in Sports Science & Health, followed by a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from Oxford Brookes University. Originally from Monaghan, he moved to Edinburgh for a change of pace and hasn’t looked back since. After four years working in the NHS, he transitioned into private practice and sports physiotherapy, where he continues to grow his skillset and passion for helping people move and feel better. When he’s not in the clinic, Peter is pitch-side with Hearts F.C., covering games for their academy teams. Outside of work, you’ll find him exploring Scotland, seeking out great food, chasing down a quality coffee, or enjoying a pint of Guinness.

Sports Physiotherapy

Peter brings a strong athletic background to his work, having competed nationally in Gaelic Football and internationally in Basketball. His hands-on experience gives him unique insight into what athletes need – whether it’s recovering from injury, building strength, or improving performance. He has worked with professional and international athletes, including Olympians, and holds qualifications in dry needling, sports massage, and strength & conditioning. Peter is also an EXOS performance specialist, combining elite-level performance training with tailored rehab programs to get his clients back stronger, faster, and more resilient.

Peter’s Philosophy

Peter believes in blending manual therapy with evidence-based rehabilitation to deliver the best possible outcomes. He’s passionate about not just treating the symptoms, but addressing the root cause – helping clients return to full function safely and effectively, and equipping them to stay injury-free in the long run.

Whether you’re an elite athlete or just want to move better in everyday life, Peter’s goal is simple: get you back to doing what you love, as quickly and confidently as possible.
