Zara is passionate about helping people recover from injury, manage pain, and return to the activities they enjoy. She combines her strong clinical knowledge with her own background in sport to deliver effective, patient-centred care.
Professional Sport
Zara currently holds the role of Head Physiotherapist at an Edinburgh City Football Club, where she oversees the acute emergency management of players as well as their post-injury rehabilitation. She has particular clinical interests in sports injury management and prevention, low back pain, and biomechanical analysis.
With a strong background in soft tissue manual therapy, including sports massage, muscle energy techniques and specific soft tissue release. Zara provides tailored rehabilitation approaches designed to support each patient’s individual recovery and long-term goals.

Zara is a keen sports enthusiast. She enjoys both football and rugby, and plays recreational football with a local Edinburgh team. She is also passionate about fitness, regularly training in the gym and exploring new training concepts and movement techniques to integrate into her physiotherapy practice. Her enthusiasm for sport and exercise underpins her commitment to helping others stay active, recover from injury, and perform at their best.
